Bamboo Chiyogami Lily

#14 in Doodle a Day.

Folded this a couple years ago with two layers, one red on the inside and one bamboo-patterned on the outside, to give it real depth.

Folded thousands of these out of normal printer paper in middle school, learned it by heart out of a 'christmas origami' book that called it an iris. Looks a bit more like a lily to me

The photo's washed out, I was trying to get this shoot done quickly before my cats had to jump all over the 'set'.
